The museum is complete in detail and well kept. The rest, that is, the entire external part, is a real disappointment, barriers and ribbons that delimit the route which is reduced to a tour of the museum itself. I think there was so much more to see. There is no refreshment point as indicated on the page, in short nothing. 2 stars only for the volunteers who manage it and for their commitment
I won't tell you the history of the fort, that's why there is a guided tour, mandatory to visit the place, it is an invaluable historical place, the non-profit organization keeps it to the maximum of its possibilities, the guide and her husband entertained us and ours children with really interesting stories.
Visit it, NOT TO BE MISSED.

Well kept place. When we visited there was no one there and we managed to see some cute little animals.
It is one of the beautiful forts of Mestre, perhaps the most beautiful, where you can come in good weather to walk, walk the dog or read. It is one of the lungs of the city. Entrance is free and there is parking. At the entrance is a small tavern with a bar, where you can eat well for a really cheap price.

Beautiful fort thanks to the work of the cooperative that manages it! clean and perfectly preserved, it houses a beautiful war museum.
